Farm Hand Vacancies – Kununurra, Western Australia

Backpacker Job Description

A local Kununurra Sandalwood Farm is after 2 field workers for de-vining/weeding.

This position will go throughout the wet season for approx 2-4 months for the right applicants.

You will be interviewed for your suitability prior to being offered work. This is an extremely hard position as you will be hand pruning with a metre pruner.

You must be tough, hard-working to cope with the extreme temperatures and be used to working outdoors in the tropical heat.

This job is in Kununurra, 3500km North West of Perth on the NT border and starts ASAP. Flight from Perth will be paid for if you commit at least 2 months. If you don’t stick it out, you will have to pay for your own flight.

Hours will be dependent on the weather. You MUST be able to understand instructions in English.

Accommodation is available at no charge over the wet season on farm, but you will be responsible for own meals.

Bonus of extra $2.00 per hour if you stay committed period of time.
